Book online through our website for Nigeria Custom Service (NCS) examination after the container is
discharged from the
vessel.

Search for the vehicle parking slot on our website and arrange NCS examination which also applies to
General Cargo.

Proceed to the PTML Releasing Office for Custom Exit Note, this is issued
on confirmation that cargo has been released by NCS and presentation
of relevant documents.

A proforma invoice is generated by the PTML Releasing Office for payment which could be online or at our
designated
banks (GTB, Access and Zenith) at the PTML Terminal.

A Receipt/Delivery Order (DO) will be received from PTML Releasing Office on confirmation of payment and
verification of
relevant document.

Customer can then proceed to the Terminal where Terminal Delivery Order (TDO) is generated via the TDO
kiosk machine or
from the PTML TDO Office.
NOTE
A Customer is exempted from the online booking process for NCS examination if the container is assigned for Fast Track/Bond.
In this case, the Customer is to proceed to the PTML Releasing Office to obtain a Custom Exit Note, Proforma invoice for payment, DO and TDO at the PTML Terminal.
This will be issued on confirmation of NCS approval letter and other relevant document.
Gate-in by road
1
You can use an empty trailer to pick full import cargo.
This will require an AUTHORITY TO LOAD (ATL)

You can return empty containers to the terminal.
This will require EMPTY RETURN ADVICE (ERA)
Picking up a car, van, bus, and truck
1
TDO is to be presented at the Buffer Area with the following information: (Chassis No, Vehicle
description, Bill of
Lading), and the payment receipt/DO.

The Delivery Clerk inspects the vehicle using the Terminal Operating System after the vehicle is moved
to the delivery
line from the parking slot.

The Security Clerk checks the details on the TDO against the physical vehicle and marks the TDO.

After inspection, the customer should proceed to the Exit Gate where the vehicle is gate passed after
the TDO is scanned
on the Terminal Operating System and the Gate Clerk verifies the information as well as updates
the system.
Picking up a Full Import Container (Delivery)

Truck driver is to present a copy of the Authority to Load (ATL) to gate-in at the terminal.

Gate Clerk checks the validity of the ATL using the Terminal Operating System, and if the ATL is not
valid, the Customer
is notified to report to the Customer Care Department.

For a Valid ATL, the Gate Clerk allows the truck into the terminal.

The Terminal Delivery Clerk receives a copy of the TDO from the truck driver, verifies all the
information and directs
the truck driver to the Stack Area where the container is to be loaded on truck.

The truck driver is to proceed to the exit gate after the full import container has been loaded on the
truck and the container has been inspected using our Terminal Operation System .

Gate Clerk issues the truck driver an EIR (Equipment Interchange Report), and opens the fast-bar for
the
truck to exit
the terminal.
Picking up general cargo
1
Present TDO with the following information (Bill of Lading) and the payment Receipt/DO to the Gate
Clerk to gate-in.

Gate Clerk confirms from the Warehouse Office if the TDO is valid.
3
For a Valid TDO, the Warehouse clerk identifies the cargo and loads on truck.

The truck driver then proceeds to the exit gate where the truck is gate passed after the Delivery
Clerks stamps the TDO.
Picking up an empty container for
Stuffing/Export

If the container is for Stuffing/Export, an Agent is issued a Booking ID/confirmation after booking has
been created and
approved online.

Agent presents the Booking ID/confirmation to the Gate Clerk to gate-in.
3
The truck driver presents a copy of the Booking ID/Confirmation to the
security officers at the terminal to gate-in.

The Tally Clerk verifies the Booking ID/Confirmation and directs the truck driver to the stack area to
pick-up the empty
container.
5
Based on Booking Confirmation, the required container described and quantity is loaded on the truck.

The truck driver is to proceed to the exit gate after the empty container has been inspected using the
Terminal
Operation System.

The Empty Deport Office issues the truck driver an EIR (Equipment Interchange Report) to exit the
terminal.
Delivery of Full Export
1
Agent is to print a copy of the Export Delivery Note (EDN) and hand it over to the truck driver.
2
The truck driver is to present the EDN to the Gate Clerk at the terminal gate.
3
The Gate Clerk scans the EDN to check if it is still valid using our Terminal Operating System and
directs the truck
driver to the Weigh Bridge.

The Export Office issues the truck driver a copy of the VGM after the container loaded on
the truck has been
weighed.
5
After weighing, the truck driver is to proceed to the exit gate where the truck is gate passed.
